Preetma Singh has an inspiring career story that many of us Gen-Y’s can relate to all too well. Following an ivy league education and law degree, Preetma was working as an associate for a large corporate law firm. Colleagues were inspired by her personalized, eclectic style and would often ask her how they too could add personality to their daily wear of suits and button downs. She started her blog, The Working Girl, Esq. to address personal style in the corporate environment. Eventually, Preetma left her financially stable but creatively unstimulating career as a lawyer to do what she loved - fashion. Following stints with Refinery 29 and Vogue, Preetma is now an Associate Market Editor at Marie Claire, and her unique, polished approach to fashion has caught the eye of street style photographers everywhere.
